The reliability engine
behind every shift.
When a shift goes uncovered, the manager feels it first — scrambling through a contact list, texting the same people who always get asked, making gut calls about who might say yes. The employees feel it too — the reliable ones get overloaded, the newer ones get overlooked, and nobody has visibility into whether the process is fair.
VestaFide treats shift coverage as an engineering problem. Every acceptance, every decline, every on-time arrival is a data point. The system captures it, weighs it, and uses it to make the next decision faster and more accurate than the last.
VestaFide isn't a scheduling tool. It's a reliability engine built in layers — each one delivering value on its own, each one making the others more powerful.
Internal Coverage
A shift needs covering. VestaFide instantly scores your team — by acceptance probability, fairness rotation, qualifications, and shift-time preference — and presents a ranked shortlist. One decision. Automated outreach. Auto-escalation if declined. The system starts learning from the first shift.
Talent Marketplace
When your own team can't cover, VestaFide cascades to a shared network: partner employees from linked businesses who've opted in, and verified gig workers who've earned trust scores on the platform. The system always exhausts the most trusted source first. Every new participant makes the network more valuable for everyone.
Shift Savers
"I can't come in — my babysitter cancelled." Instead of accepting the callout, the system identifies the blocker and routes to a resolution: childcare, transportation, whatever the real obstacle is. The shift gets saved before it becomes a gap. Covering callouts is layer one. Preventing them is layer three.
Smart Scheduling
The intelligence that fills gaps becomes the intelligence that builds the schedule. Preference learning, fragility scoring, day-off management, shift swaps, and proactive alerts for high-risk days — before they become emergencies. You earn the right to schedule by proving you understand the team better than any calendar tool.
Every feature in VestaFide serves two audiences at once. Managers get operational intelligence. Workers get a fair system that recognizes reliability. The flywheel connects both — the more both sides engage, the smarter the platform becomes.
-
Ranked candidates, not guesswork
The system learns which employees accept which shift types, at what times, with how much lead time. Candidates are scored by acceptance probability, fairness rotation, and preference fit — and the ranking gets sharper every week.
-
Bonuses that reflect the math
The system tracks fill rates with and without incentives across shift profiles — type, day, time of day. Tuesday mornings need nothing. Saturday evenings need $15. The system learns the difference and only suggests bonuses when they'll move the needle.
-
Fragility alerts before the gap
Each scheduled day gets a fragility score based on the callout history of every employee on it. A high-risk Friday gets flagged while there's still time to pre-stage backup or adjust the schedule.
-
Fairness you can see
Every offer is tracked. The system distributes extra shifts across your team — not just to the people who always say yes. Offer load per employee is visible relative to the org average. Reliable employees are protected from burnout.
-
A reputation that belongs to you
Every shift you work, every offer you honor, every on-time arrival builds a trust score that follows you across the VestaFide network. Your reliability record opens doors at every location on the platform — and it's yours, not an employer's to define.
-
Offers that match how you work
The system learns your patterns — whether you prefer mornings or evenings, which shift types you consistently accept, how far in advance you like to plan. Over time, offers become more relevant and fewer. Higher quality, not higher volume.
-
Nobody gets asked too many times
The fairness engine tracks cumulative offer load. If you've been covering extra shifts, the system eases up and gives other team members their turn. You're not penalized for being reliable — you're protected from being over-relied upon.
-
One bad shift doesn't define you
The learning model weighs recent behavior more heavily, but a single rough event doesn't crater your score. The system reflects who you actually are over time — and consistency produces visible, compounding results.
VestaFide uses an exponentially weighted moving average to track behavioral signals across every employee and organization. Recent events carry more weight than older ones, but the model is stable enough that a single unusual event doesn't distort the picture. Each signal also carries a confidence score — combining sample size, behavioral consistency, and recency — so the system knows when to trust its own estimates and when to fall back to safe defaults.
The platform currently tracks 10 active signal types — acceptance rates per shift type, fill difficulty by day and time of day, fairness distribution, response time patterns, and more — with 40+ additional signals designed and ready to activate as the platform grows. Tier 1 signals drive decisions today. Tier 2 signals are recording silently, building months of behavioral history so that future features like fragility scoring and schedule drafting have data to work with from the moment they ship.
We studied the failure modes, the incentive structures, and the human dynamics of shift-based operations — and built a system that reflects how these organizations actually function.
Trust is earned, not assumed
Every worker builds a reliability score through real outcomes — acceptances, show-ups, no-shows, ratings. Trust is a number. It's transparent, auditable, and improves over time.
Managers decide, the system works
VestaFide handles ranking, outreach, escalation, and tracking. Managers retain every critical decision. The system amplifies human judgment — it doesn't replace it.
Every action has a log
Every recommendation has a reason. Every state change has an audit entry. Built for environments where accountability matters — healthcare, hospitality, anywhere the record has to be trusted.
The network compounds
Every organization on the platform expands the supply network for every other. Trust scores earned at one location are visible at the next. The platform's value grows with every participant — which is why we built for network effects from day one.

He has delivered over $10M in captured savings across six major initiatives, including an industry-first deployment no other record keeper has executed, maintaining 85–95% adoption rates on complex digital transformations. Every project: on time, on budget.
Before corporate operations, Swayde served as a U.S. Army Sergeant with combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, earning two campaign stars. He coached and trained teams of eight to forty soldiers, held a security clearance covering $6M in classified equipment critical to the safety of 200 personnel, and graduated first in his class in the Basic Leadership Course from a cohort of over 100 soldiers.
He brings that same standard to VestaFide: build something that works every time, for the people who need it most.
