VestaFide contacts employees only for operational reasons — shift coverage, schedule changes, and account security — no marketing, no promotions, nothing irrelevant. Every message has a purpose, and every employee has the right to decide how and whether we reach them. This page explains what we send and how to manage your preferences at any time.

What we send.

VestaFide sends operational messages only. We do not send promotional emails, marketing campaigns, or unsolicited outreach of any kind.

Shift Offers

Open shift alerts

When your organization has a shift that needs coverage, you may receive an SMS or push notification with the shift details and a link to accept or decline. You control whether these reach you.

Shift Swaps

Schedule change confirmations

When an employee requests a shift swap and a qualified coworker picks it up, management reviews and approves the change. Both employees receive an SMS confirmation once the swap is approved and the schedule has been updated.

Account

Login & verification

One-time codes and magic links sent when you log in or verify your account. These are transactional — they are sent only in direct response to an action you initiated.

Onboarding

Setup invitation

A one-time message sent by your manager to activate your access to VestaFide — the scheduling and shift coverage app your organization uses. You're already part of the team; this message gives you a link to set up your account.

Frequency

Only when relevant

Message frequency depends entirely on your organization's open shifts. Most employees receive a small number of messages per week. You will only be contacted for shifts you are eligible to cover, or to confirm a schedule change that directly involves you.

Three ways to stop messages.

You can opt out at any time using any of the methods below. All three paths write to the same record — whichever is easiest for you works.

Reply STOP by text

Reply STOP to any shift offer text message. Your number is removed from all future SMS immediately. This is handled at the carrier level — no account required. To re-enable SMS, reply START to the same number.

Toggle in your employee profile

Log in to the employee portal and open My Profile. The SMS shift notifications toggle lets you enable or disable SMS at any time. Changes take effect immediately. If you previously texted STOP, text START to also re-enable at the carrier level.

Unsubscribe from email

Every transactional email from VestaFide includes an unsubscribe link in the footer. You can also update your email address and notification preferences from your profile at any time.

Manage your preferences.

Log in to the employee portal to view and update your notification settings, including SMS opt-in status, preferred contact method, email address, and shift offer preferences. All changes take effect immediately.
